Brand Design
A selection of branding and logo design.

Emily Wharton
Emily Wharton is a therapist in the Bay Area and I worked with her to create her unique brand and website for her private practice.
Discovery, Message and Voice
The first step was to understand who she is as a therapist, what her practice represents, her clientele. I learned about her modalities, trainings, and education as well.

This helped shaped the vision for her brand. She filled out a questionnaire for me as well answering simple questions of colors that she doesn't like or overall feel of designs that she is drawn to. From here the message and voice was formed.

Mood and Color
From these key words and learning more about Emily and her practice I created several mood boards and color palettes to present to her. We landed on a warm pallet with soft features and clean lines.

Typography
I wanted to bring in a couple of fonts that were both friendly, approachable and easy to read. I also wanted one font to be a bit more unique to stand out in branding and social media posts.

Logo
I wanted to create an abstract logo for Emily that represented the shared space created by her and her client. Relaying the message that her type of a therapeutic approach is a joint effort and they are in this together. I created a logo mark and a full logo with her name.

Site Examples
I brought this all together in her website by infusing soft shapes with line work.
